We've already established that we disagree on how good or bad the movie is, but I thought i should still put up my thoughts. I'm not sure about the title of "most popular graphic novel", because I think that's just a PR person's BS. That said I don't think everyone would like the comic and some of it's best elements would not translate onto the big screen. I thought the character development was great. I really liked that the characters in the comic and on the screen were flawed superheroes. Dr. Manhattan was in many ways similar to Superman, but he lacked Superman's humanity. Night Owl was similar to Batman, but he wasn't as dashing/debonair and certainly had confidence issues that were only resolved when he was wearing the mask. The characters were not perfect and flawless as superheroes often are.

There was not a lot of action admittedly, but I think what drove the story was more the emotions going through the minds of these "superheroes" that were cast out by society. Though it was marketed as a superhero movie I'm not sure I would characterize it that way. To me the graphic novel/comic and the movie is more of a satire of superheroes and how f'd up the world would be if they existed.

I knew that movie would be garbage from the trailers and the barrage of stinknig watchmen specials on tv (MTV, G4, Spike, Fox,TNT, HGTV, Food, etc.) But I am sorry you wasted your $10, even if I warned you, you probably wouldn't believe me.

I am an action junkie though and knew swatchmen wouldnt have any. (I will see the new fast and furious movie and love it, miami vice was good in the last 10 mins)

Dane cook does kinda suck. but he is the white man's Katt Williams.

A couple of things. First, this post is showing some wacky errors up top. I think it has to do with the picture you posted.

Second, this movie's rottentomatoes rating should all but discredit the whole system, no? flawed system, my man.

Other than that, try not to go Travis Henry on your site.
